As pursuant to Connecticut General Statues, Chapter 170, Section 10-231 the following pesticides along with the material safety data sheets (MSDS) are utilized at Berlin Public Schools.

Notification Concerning Asbestos Management Plans

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. Understanding and controlling common pollutants indoors can help reduce your risk of indoor health concerns.

Radon Testing Reports

In accordance with Connecticut General Statute Sec.10-220(d)(2), all Berlin Public Schools completed the three-year radon re-evaluation of the school buildings the week of February 26, 2024. The state of Connecticut guidelines for radon in the air are 4 pCi/L*. All test results obtained in the Berlin Public Schools were below state guideline levels.

Completed testing reports will be kept on file in the Main Office in each school building and posted on our District website's Environmental Health and Safety webpage.
