This month, the Willard Snapshot focused on the music program offered here at Willard Elementary School. Specifically, we explored our chorus and band programs for fourth and fifth grade students. In addition to visiting each classroom and videotaping instructional lessons, we had the opportunity to interview students and ask them questions regarding their learning and growth within these programs. Our student responses are impressive and remind us of the importance of providing a diverse and engaging music program to students at the elementary level.
